Currently, Bridge Crane Specialists is seeking experienced professionals to join our team.



CONTROLS ENGINEER
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ÿ Develop electrical and controls system design solutions based on engineering principles and involvement in  presentation of the solution to customer.

  • Ÿ Provide technical support to external and internal customers.

  • Ÿ Resolve operational problems related to projects and minimize delays or unexpected cost increases.

  • Ÿ Ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed for all work completed.

  • Ÿ Support sales team in pre-sales technical concept and budgeting activities.

  • Ÿ Interpret client requirements, identify and address design parameters and engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented accurately & within budget.
     

ENGINEERING:

  • Ÿ Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations supporting design including electrical  requirements, robotic safety standards, and motor controls.

  • Ÿ Knowledge of 3 phase power. PLC Programming.

  • Ÿ Create and finalize designs to meet project requirements.

  • Ÿ Create accurate Bill of Materials.

  • Ÿ Define equipment and parts from external suppliers.

  • Ÿ Conduct cost and time estimation.
     

PROJECT EXECUTION:

  • Ÿ Oversee project workflow and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of projects,  expected quality, and allotted budget.

  • Ÿ Electrical, software design of customized solutions including manufacturing automation and safety systems.  Maintain project scope and identify project creep.

  • Ÿ Support manufacture, build and validation of systems of systems which include pneumatics, servos, vfd’s,  relays, communication networks, touchscreens, pushbuttons and robotic integration.

  • Ÿ Create customer documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and  electrical drawings.

  • Ÿ Ability to architect programs that are simple to test, well documented and versatile.
     

PROJECT COMPLETION:

  • Ÿ Maintain records and files according to quality standard.

  • Ÿ Commission customized products and systems onsite and at customers facility.
     

SERVICING:

  • Ÿ Modifies systems upon customer’s request and documents the amendments accordingly.

  • Ÿ Provide high quality pre-sales, design-in and post-sales technical support to customer

  • Ÿ Performs other duties of similar nature or level.
     

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ÿ Applicants must be a citizen of the United States

  • Ÿ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar related electrical degree).

  • Ÿ 5 years related job experience.

  • Ÿ Proficient with MS Office, Allen Bradley RSLogix 5000, Indusoft, AutoCAD Electrical.

  • Ÿ Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system design and its application in automated  industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communications systems.

  • Ÿ Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet company goals.

INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in servicing and maintaining overhead and workplace crane systems a PLUS.

  • MUST HAVE experience with three-phase circuitry, electrical control boxes, lock out /tag out procedures, and general electrical applications

  • Skilled at troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment

  • Familiarity with OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and other codes and regulations

  • Able to work in a team environment
     

• ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience

  • Excellent customer service experience

  • Prior supervisory experience a plus

  • Motivated, reliable, and dependable

  • Able to pass a drug screen and background check

This position reports directly to the Service Manager. 

Positions available in Kiefer and Oklahoma City
